Interlude

Alternative title: Alien Space Pods. Because that was honestly the first thing that came to mind when I saw these chrysalises. I have no idea what accounts for the metallic effect. Nature does some strange things sometimes.

I'm not sure exactly what species of butterfly these belong to. If anyone happens to know, please tell me!
